Directions to the Blue Heron Inn
From the Idaho Falls Airport
As you exit the airport, you will be traveling south on North Skyline Drive. Drive south 3 blocks to the first stop light. Turn left at this intersection onto U.S. Hwy 20.
Mark your odometer, as the Inn is 18.5 miles from this intersection. Continue north on Hwy 20 to the Inn.
Watch for the Blue Heron Inn sign 1 mile from the Inn. Don't turn off the highway until you see the SECOND Blue Heron sign. You will be turning right onto a gravel road. Follow the gravel road toward the bridge, then go over the rail road tracks.
If you cross the Snake River Bridge, you've gone too far.
Directions to the Inn from Rexburg
Take U.S. Hwy 20 south. Look for Yellowstone Bear World on your right, next the Snake River Bridge. Take the next left. You will be crossing two lanes of north bound traffic, so be careful. You will be turning onto a gravel road. Follow the gravel road toward the bridge, then go over the rail road tracks.
